After being seen on tape nursing a hungry, wailing infant in a hospital, Argentinean police woman Celeste Jaqueline Ayala was going about her regular business. She is being praised as a hero.
When Officer Celeste Jaqueline Ayala heard the infant sobbing, she was on her regular duty as a guard at the Sor Maria Ludovica Children’s Hospital in Buenos Aires.
She went to investigate the source of the sobbing and discovered that a baby boy who had been arrested by the police was the cause of the screaming.
Ayala wanted to hold the infant after seeing that hospital workers were occupied with other patients. The cop persisted on treating the baby despite medical staff saying it was “dirty and smelly.”
