Police arrived to the residence of the 15-year-old at about 1 p.m. today, mere hours after the campus shooting, according to a neighbor of the adolescent school shooter.
In addition to a SWAT vehicle that pulled up on his neighbor’s front yard, he reported seeing scores of cops and at least ten police cars.
The neighbor said that he and his wife retreated to their basement after neighbors in the north Madison area heard flash-bangs.
“We realize we probably shouldn’t be up here after the first boom,” he added. For almost forty-five minutes, the pair stayed in the basement.
According to them, cops knocked on their door to give them an update and the all-clear. According to investigators, the incident happened during study hall in a classroom.
According to Barnes, the 15-year-old female student opened fire on a mixed-grade class in the study hall.
