A woman was duped into transferring £700,000 for cancer treatment to a phony Brad Pitt.

A French lady says she was duped into giving €830,000 (£697,000) to aid with a man’s “cancer treatment” who she believed to be Brad Pitt.

After receiving a message on social media from someone posing as the actor’s mother, Anne, 53, claimed she was duped by the con artist.

In February 2023, an account pretending to be the Fight Club actor sent the interior designer another direct message the next day.

According to Metro, the message read: “Hello Anne, my mother told me a lot about you.” I’m interested in learning more. According to reports, Anne told French station TF1 (via BFM TV) that.

She felt comfortable confiding in the individual since she was going through a tough period with her spouse at the time. We’re really discussing Brad Pitt, and I’m descending from the sky.
