According to science, women sleep better than men when they are around dogs.

The importance of sleep for one’s health should go without saying. For this reason, a lot of academics are looking into the best ways to obtain a good night’s sleep.

But don’t meditate before bed or drink chamomile tea. Women sleep better close to dogs, according to recent studies. Yes, a research from New York State’s Canisius College revealed

That dogs are more suitable sleeping companions than either cats or people. Christy Hoffman, Ph.D., an animal behaviorist and the study’s chief researcher, said,

“We discovered that women generally rate dogs as better bed partners than cats and human partners and report that their dogs enhance their sleep quality.”

Women Sleep Better Next to Dogs, According to Research To arrive at these conclusions, Hoffman polled over a thousand American women.

According to the findings, 31% of participants had at least one cat and 55% of participants had at least one dog sharing their bed.
