On Monday morning (December 9), Fox 13 News reported that 35-year-old Michael Lee Murray of Sandy, Utah, paid $4,000 for a used Subaru Outback from Tim Dahle Mazda Southtowne.
The guy returned to the dealership and requested a refund after learning that the Subaru had serious mechanical problems, which made him think he had purchased a “lemon.”
However, the management informed him that the Subaru was sold “as is” and that he was not eligible for a refund.
The article claims that platform manager Tyler Slade told Murray the car required repairs before he purchased it.
He said, “We made it very clear that this car is not retail.” “It will require additional inspections and some work.”
The unhappy client reportedly threatened to drive the car through the dealership’s front door if they would not accept.
