In response to 26-year-old former Marine Daniel Penny’s acquittal over Jordan Neely’s killing, Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader Hawk Newsome called For “black vigilantes” to swarm major cities on Monday.
When Penny choked homeless man Jordan Neely, 30, to protect other passengers on a New York City subway train in May 2023.
A Manhattan jury ruled him not guilty of criminally negligent murder. Newsome urged “black vigilantes”
To battle against white people who supposedly want to “choke” and “kill” black people for “being loud” and to get revenge for Neely’s death.
“We need some black vigilantes, just like everyone else has,” Newsome said. “When others try to oppress us, we should do the same.
They want to leap up and murder us and choke us for being noisy. I’m worn out. I am aware that you want us to say, “Oh, go march.”
