After the Maryland school calls the incident “horseplaying,” the mother claims her son was almost hung in the restroom.

A mother’s allegations that her son was hung in a Maryland school restroom went viral over the weekend. She said a fourth grader was to blame and included pictures of her 7-year-old in the hospital.

However, C. Paul Barnhart Elementary School attributed the event to “horseplaying” in a statement released two days before to the mother’s post.

Statement on Incident at Maryland School The elementary school’s principle, Carrie Burke, released a statement regarding the events of November 15. That same day, the incident had taken place.

Burke stated that one child’s jacket “got caught on a stall door hook” as the youngsters were “horseplaying in a school bathroom.”
