“Always About You”: Stars Don’t Express Any Compassion During California Fires

Celebrities who posted graphic footage of their million-dollar houses being destroyed by flames in Los Angeles were subjected to unwarranted criticism.

Several celebrities were among the 150,000 people who were told to evacuate as three fires raged throughout Southern California, one of which has grown to be the most damaging fire in LA history.

As the fire ravaged the most severely affected districts, at least five people have died and several more have been injured.

As the fire tore through the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood, celebrities including Paris Hilton, Miles Teller, Eugene Levy, Adam Brody, and Leighton Meester lost their homes.

 

Rory Sykes, a former child star, perished in a wildfire in Los Angeles, and his mother was unable to put out the “cinders on his roof.”
