An ex-NYPD commander claims that the healthcare boss assassin’s escape path demonstrates the scope of his evil scheme.

According to a former NYPD lieutenant commander, the guy who shot and murdered UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last week meticulously planned the crime.

Lieutenant Joe Cardinale told Fox News that while he is not a professional, he is calculating. He clearly had a lot of planning done for this as well.

He prepared everything before it, even his escape route. The suspect has probably enjoyed the attention.

He’s gotten since the dramatic assassination, according to the veteran police officer. Additionally, he characterized him as conceited, which Cardinale said may be his downfall.

The suspect managed to escape the area unnoticed after the incident, which took place early on Wednesday.

According to NBC News, a guy was being questioned by Pennsylvania police on Monday over the murder.
