It has been stated that Cheryl Prudham, a 34-year-old mother of 12 children, took more than $12,000 in change from nearby parking meters.
In addition to receiving more than $49,000 in welfare money in a single year, she had previously been the focus of media attention.
She earned the moniker “Queen of Benefits.” She was seen searching for a Mercedes close to her Wigan, Lancashire, home earlier this year.
Robert Prudham, Cheryl’s estranged husband, was also accused of swiping coins from nearby parking meters.
