Adorable centerpieces with humorous and heartfelt remarks written by the groom’s fourth-grade pupils have garnered a lot of attention online for a teacher’s wedding.
Earlier this month, Lindsey Monte, a bridesmaid and the bride’s cousin, posted pictures of the centerpieces from Halle Strieter and Thomas Randles’ wedding on TikTok.
The kids’ answers to the following two questions were placed on the centerpieces: “What is love?” And “Why do people get married?”
The responses included: “When you look at a person and your heart goes fast and you’re in love” then “So they can get smoochey smoochey with each other.”
Prior to her arrival at the wedding, Monte informed “Good Morning America” that she was unaware of the students’ participation.
