Super Bowl champs Patrick Mahomes and local hero Travis Kelce were a special guest on Friday night’s Morgan Wallen program in Kansas City.
At Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, the country music superstar suddenly appeared onstage alongside Travis, Patrick, and Chris Jones, one of their teammates.
Take a look at the video… Morgan guided the NFL players along an arena corridor as Wallen’s “WHISKEY WHISKEY,” a duet with Moneybagg Yo, swelled in the backdrop.
With great anticipation, Morgan and the rest of the group made their way to the stage, bopping to the beat of the music. The enthusiastic sold-out audience, of course, couldn’t help but let out their own kind of noise the whole time.
Along with country music sensations Lainey Wilson and Brooks & Dunn, Morgan had yet another surprise in store for the crowd.
However, not everyone was happy with the concert… Morgan donned a Kansas City Chiefs shirt with the same number as kicker Harrison Butker.
You may recall that Butker caused a stir when he delivered a graduating address at Benedictine College, railing against LGBTQ+ people and abortion.
Many of Morgan’s admirers noticed that when he wore the No. 7 jersey, it was really a “Butker jersey” with “Wallen” printed on the back. It seems that the concert was well-received by everybody.
