The 49ers cornerback, who started Charvarius for Change in 2021, shared a lovely picture of his late 1-year-old daughter, who was sitting in front of another loved one and grinning.
Charvarius sent a meaningful note below this photo, starting off by expressing his sadness over the news that Amani Joy Ward had died on Monday morning (October 28, 2024).
Then he said, “Her joyful spirit made us smile from ear to ear, and she was the best blessing we could have asked for.” She instilled in us the values of patience, trust, and optimism.
The grieving father, who started his college education at Hinds CC (MS), highlighted his daughter’s strength and bravery.
