The svelte and humorous nonagenarian Dick Van Dyke, whose career has spanned over seven decades, has added music video star to his long list of accomplishments.
Coldplay’s most recent music video, “All My Love,” features Van Dyke, 98, dancing barefoot in the garden of his Malibu, California, house.
Van Dyke, who danced his way through “Mary Poppins” 60 years ago and starred on “The Dick Van Dyke Show” from 1961 to 1966, does some of his trademark dance movements while Chris Martin, the band’s leader, plays an upright piano.
Spike Jonze and Mary Wigmore directed the video, which was shot in October. A director’s cut that is longer.
Than seven minutes was published on Friday; a condensed version will be made available on Van Dyke’s 99th birthday on December 13.
