It turns out that life isn’t so unfair. Variety has learnt that Disney+ has commissioned a return of “Malcolm in the Middle.”
Original performers Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek are expected to return to their roles in the new version of the show, which was created by original.
Series creator Linwood Boomer. Four additional episodes of the popular comedy have been commissioned by Disney Branded Television. There is no definite date for the debut.
As stated in the official logline, “Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) demand that Malcolm (Muniz) attend their 40th wedding anniversary party, drawing him and his daughter into the family’s turmoil.”
Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis said, “Malcolm in the Middle is a landmark sitcom that captured the essence of family life with humor, heart, and relatability.”
Audiences of all ages were moved by its heartwarming and humorous depiction of a charmingly dysfunctional family, and we can’t wait to see the original cast return to recreate the magic.
