In order to go overseas, Ellen DeGeneres and her spouse, Portia De Rossi, are leaving the United States.
As reported by several outlets on Nov. 20, the couple has relocated to England and intends to sell their home in Montecito, California.
According to sources, the reason for their move was when former President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris, whom Ellen had supported, in the 2024 election earlier this month.
Ellen and Portia’s representatives were contacted by E! News for comment, but they have not responded.
The pair, who got married in 2008, appeared to be settling down across the pond this week when they were seen at British host Jeremy Clarkson’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog, in Burford, England.
