The first British woman to pass away after a “liquid Brazilian Bum Lift (BBL)” surgery was a mother of five. Detectives are now looking into the death of Alice Delsie Preete Webb and have made two arrests.
The 33-year-old beauty therapist became the first person in the UK to pass away following the celebrity-style treatment on Monday, only hours after it was allegedly carried out in the West Country.
Unlike surgery, the “liquid” BBL is categorized as “non-invasive” and doesn’t usually leave scars since it employs a dermal filler product instead of the patient’s own body fat.
Comparable “liquid” BBL treatments may be seen advertised online for as little as £2,500 per and are completed in around 60 minutes.
The Mirror claims that an unlicensed practitioner without medical expertise administered Webb’s therapy. “Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following.
