A Houston teacher narrowly escaped an attempted sexual assault, and now the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the culprit.
An incident occurred on Saturday, July 28th, shortly before midnight, according to HCSO. According to the authorities, the suspect and a teenager were on the same bus and alighted at the same stop.
As the victim made her way to an adjacent apartment building, the accused reportedly “threatened to fatally injure the complainant if they refused to engage in sexual activity.”
Teacher David Garza, who would eventually be named as a Good Samaritan, acted immediately at that moment.
