“God Would Have Done It If He Wanted It To Rain”: Horrible Fires engulf LA (30 Photos)

The extent of the destruction caused to local people this week by the flames that are presently burning in Los Angeles County is beyond words.

At least five separate fires have started since Tuesday, January 7, spreading over thousands of acres and burning everything in their path. According to CNN, one of them,

The Palisades Fire, has destroyed almost 17,000 acres and is “the most destructive ever in Los Angeles County.” Here are a few images from the terrible catastrophe.

Five big fires are now burning in the region, two of which are allegedly 0% controlled, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection:

 

What we know about how the flames in Los Angeles began: communities were burned, 180,000 people were evacuated, and 10 people died.

Los Angeles was set on fire by an alleged arsonist who was arrested for “purposefully starting the Kenneth fire.”
