Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, is running with Kamala Harris. Since President Biden backed Harris, Walz has been tirelessly campaigning for her. You may have seen him at the forefront, referring to Trump and J.D. Vance as “weird.”
Free school meals for all Minnesota students were one of Walz’s many accomplishments as governor.
He also protected transgender individuals, outlawed conversion therapy, eliminated ideologically motivated book bans, and guaranteed “ironclad” reproductive freedom.
It is intriguing that Harris is taking a progressive stance here since she was thinking about running against moderates like Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, and Mark Kelly, the senator from Arizona.
