According to TMZ, James Van Der Beek is fighting colorectal cancer.
The 47-year-old actor, who is most known for “Dawson’s Creek,” revealed to People that he is undergoing treatment for the illness.
Van Der Beek asserts that there is cause for optimism in spite of the alarming diagnosis. He adds that he’s feeling well but doesn’t elaborate on what he means.
