President Donald Trump chose the internet tycoon to lead the US government’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Musk vowed the department would be “maximally transparent” after critics pointed out the irony of the wealthiest man in the world being entrusted.
With slashing funding when his own firms, like SpaceX, have benefited from the government budget. The website formally debuted on Wednesday, February 12.
