Denis Law, a legend of Manchester United, died at the age of 84. After playing for United for 11 years, Law scored 237 goals.
In 404 games, ranking third on the team’s all-time goalscoring record, behind Sir Bobby Charlton and Wayne Rooney.
Together with Charlton and George Best, he created “The Holy Trinity” at Old Trafford, which helped the team win the FA Cup, two English crowns, and the European Cup.
In August 2021, he declared his diagnosis of vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. His family released the following statement:
“We regret to inform you of the untimely death of our father, Denis Law. After a difficult struggle, he is now at peace.
