The announcement of Vice President Kamala Harris’s running companion for the next election has sparked much speculation.
The question of who would run with Harris on the Democratic ticket has become more prominent since Joe Biden decided to support her instead.
A unexpected possibility among the many others is Pete Buttigieg, the current secretary of transportation.
Following the historic significance of Biden’s resignation, Buttigieg gave MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow an interview in which he voiced his unwavering support for Harris.
“Our conversation was excellent,” Buttigieg said. You should know that I have campaigned with her. It was with her that I traveled.
I was her comrade in service. In her role as president, she will be an exceptional leader for the ticket, the party, and the nation.
