Los Angeles was uploaded on X a few days ago, and it has now gone viral. Google Earth photos show the words “trafico,” “LAPD,” and “HELP” scribbled repeatedly in the mud.
As residents were ready to provide an explanation, conspiracy theories about what was happening down there quickly gained millions of views.
Police have been unable to confirm any crimes that may be related to the “help” messages, despite the disturbing picture causing a great deal of anxiety on social media.
According to a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the force responded to a complaint of “unknown trouble” between the 101 Freeway and Mission Road early on Sunday, January 26.
