According to the Paris Prosecutor’s Office, which confirmed the arrest to E! News, the “goosebumps” rapper,
whose actual name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, was involved in an altercation with a security guard and his personal bodyguard at a five-star Parisian hotel.
A statement from the prosecutor’s officer revealed that Travis Scott was detained at the George V Hotel on August 9th, just after 5 A.M.,
for his aggressive conduct against a security guard. “He had stepped in to disentangle Travis from his personal bodyguard.”
A spokeswoman for Scott issued a statement to E! News about the event, saying, “We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities to swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate.”
The 2024 Olympics have taken place in Paris, and Scott, who has two children from a previous relationship (Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2), is there.
