Sadly, a guy who was praised as a “modern-day medical miracle” passed away after being hit by a pick-up vehicle. Drew Kohn was engaged in a motorbike accident in 2017 that left him unconscious.

Doctors at the time told Drew’s family that there was little chance he would live, and they were even thinking about taking his organs.
Yolanda Osborne-Kohn, Drew’s mother, said to WTLV-TV: “They would have harvested his organs.” I had the courage to stand up, retaliate, and tell them, “You’re not getting a toenail or an eyelash,” because of my religion.
And the mother’s instincts were correct because, 244 days later, Drew did, in fact, come to.
Even yet, his family was informed that the 23-year-old “would never walk or talk again” due to severe brain damage.
