Police Handcuff 11-Year-Old Who They Believe Is a Car Thief

An innocent 11-year-old girl was arrested by police on her way home from school after they thought she was a vehicle thief.

Two Onondaga County Sheriff’s officers stopped the frightened youngster as she was walking home with pals from Brighton Academy Middle School in Syracuse.

They detained her and accused her of being engaged in a vehicle theft. The cops dismissed her and her companions’ claims that they had the incorrect girl.

At one point, the student’s cousin started filming the exchange, which included the victim and police talking to one other.

“You’re going to tell me that’s not you, lying?” A policeman inquired. “It is what it is. It will be simple if you are sincere. They just didn’t believe her, even though she was being truthful.
