Skinner, MyKayla I am being threatened with death… Simone Biles, please put an end to it!

In the midst of all the commotion, MyKayla Skinner’s family allegedly got death threats; she is pleading with them to stop since she has been the focus of a great deal of hate speech since Simone Biles shaded her on social media.

While Skinner had hoped the controversy would go away, the hostility she has seen after Biles’ tweet attacked her earlier remarks over the present squad’s lack of work ethic prompted her to post a long Instagram video in which she addresses the matter.

According to Skinner, “bullying” has escalated among Biles’s fan base in the days after the diss, with some going so far as to threaten Biles’s husband, daughter, and herself with physical violence.

At this point, I’m pleading with you to end it for my family’s sake; I’ve had enough,” an emotional Skinner stated in the video.

Skinner continued by saying that she apologized for her poorly worded remarks and that she had no intention of hurting or offending the 2024 team. She claimed that her remarks were more directed for the “rising generation,” rather than the gold medal winners specifically.

“I know these women are incredible — the very best of the best — and almost all of them are my former teammates who I have enjoyed very much cheering on the last few years.”

According to Skinner, she expressed her apologies to every single player on the squad. At first, she believed she had made up with Biles, but then she saw last week that she had posted the diss.

“If Simone truly believes that I called our team lazy and lacking talent and if that’s really how she feels, I am really heartbroken over it,” he said.

“But not just heartbroken because it isn’t what I feel or even how I previously said, but because Simone’s latest post and others that followed it fueled another wave of hateful comments, DMs, articles and emails.”

Abuse of power, including threats of physical harm against myself, my loved ones, and my agent. Nobody deserves to be shot down here, even my loved ones. All they have done is talk.

At the conclusion of her video, Skinner asked Biles to intervene and encourage her fans to stop. I know you never meant for us to be assaulted in the manner that we have.

We should all be rooting for each other’s success during the Olympics, whether it’s your performance, the team’s performance, or anything else that happens.
