Police have reported that a woman who “intentionally” leaped from Niagara Falls with her two children shared devastating posts in the weeks preceding her death.
On Monday (October 28), the New York state police disclosed that they were dispatched to Luna Island at Niagara Falls after witnesses observed a mother and her two children ascend the waterfall by traversing the railings.
The victims were identified by authorities as Chianti Means and her two children: Roman Rossman, nine, and Mecca Means, five months.
A member of the New York State Police discussed the tragic incident with WKBW TV, stating, “We have determined that a 33-year-old mother, a nine-year-old, and a five-month-old were all lost in the falls.”
“We do believe it was intentional but the circumstances of that investigation and the circumstances of what actually happened are still under investigation,” the investigators stated.
