Tragically, a 28-year-old travel influencer passes away.

On February 22, Maria Eftimova, a University of Salford student studying civil engineering, died after falling 65 feet while on a mountain climbing trip on the north ridge of the Tryfan mountain.

In Snowdonia, Wales. When the horrific disaster happened, the 28-year-old was climbing the perilous summit with her friend Anna and Anna’s father.

She was unable to be rescued despite the efforts of a close team member who attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), according to BBC News.

Megan Griffiths, a friend of Eftimova, honored the daring influencer after her death, describing her as a selfless person.

“Maria was a one-of-a-kind person who lived life to the fullest – not only adventurous and free-spirited but also incredibly kind, intelligent, and selfless,”
