In the Hollywood Hills, passed out in the main bathroom on a chilly morning on December 20, 2009. In the distressing 911 call, her mother screamed, “My daughter’s passed out.”

“She had a cold, was lightheaded, and had trouble walking.” The vivacious celebrity with the megawatt grin, who was adored for her parts in Girl, Clueless, Interrupted.

And many other hit movies in the early 2000s, was declared dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center two hours later. Her age was thirty-two.

The incredulity grew as the stunning news circulated. How could a wealthy and well-off young lady die of what the coroner determined to be pneumonia?

Why didn’t someone take Murphy to the doctor if she was ill? There were other theories: Murphy may have overdosed, been poisoned, or died of poisonous mold or an eating problem.
