After losing to Katie Taylor in a historic fight on Friday night at the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul event, boxer Amanda Serrano shared a sly photo of the massive cut above her eye.
In addition to the difficult-to-look photo, she said, “I will always give it my all for my fans.” Katie is my friend and I’m a vicious warrior, but my goodness, her greatest quality is her brain. Hard ass head but little punching strength, haha.
Amanda suffered a terrible wound when she lost to Katie by a unanimous score of 95-94.
The win was somewhat contentious because of the large cut that resulted from an unintentional headbutt in the sixth round.
As each round went on, Katie’s punches continued to reopen the wound, presumably widening the gash.
