With gusts reaching 93 mph, Storm Darragh continues to pound the UK, leaving thousands more Brits without electricity.
Last night, December 6, about three million households received a red “danger to life” weather warning, advising residents to stay inside due to the circumstances.
According to the notification sent via cell phone, “The storm may damage infrastructure causing power cuts and disruption to mobile phone coverage,”
“Consider gathering torches, batteries, a mobile phone power pack and other essential items you already have at home.”
“Extremely strong winds associated with Storm Darragh are expected to cause significant disruption from 3.00am on Saturday 07 December 2024,” it said.
