The parents of the pupils have already left for the Balearic Island by plane.
Social media has been used by her friends to vent their sorrow at Emma’s untimely death.
On Facebook, Emma’s friend Paris Mcgoldrick wrote: “There are no words to describe how amazing our Emma was. I have always adored every aspect of you and always will.
“You are the most beautiful angel that Heaven has ever seen, and I will always be happy to have you as a friend. Em, I will always treasure the times we spent together.”
With these final words, “I love you forever, my girl, you will never be forgotten,” Paris wrapped up her homage.
Additionally, Emma’s former teachers at St. John Ogilvie High School, her previous school, have paid tribute. She is a hardworking teenager who has been called ‘very kind’.
