After sharing her experience and coming out as abros**ual, a lady is getting support. It may be difficult to accept one’s identity, particularly when society finds it difficult to accept or comprehend.
For one lady, identifying as abros**ual required thirty years of introspection and self-discovery. Journalist Emma Flint said in an article for the Metro:
“I’m often confused when I tell people I’m abros**ual. “Unfortunately, people frequently ask questions like, ‘Is this even a real label?’ or ‘Why can’t you just pick one?’.”
Flint’s journey started in the 1990s, a time when there was much less widespread understanding of LGBTQ+ identities than there is now.
In the past, sexual orientations were often classified into strict groups such as lesbian, gay, or straight. Anything that didn’t fit within those categories.
