An NFL reporter admits that his 2-year-old daughter passed away from cancer.

Nine months after being diagnosed with cancer, NFL reporter Doug Kyed’s two-year-old daughter went suddenly. The tragic news of their precious young baby Hallie Kyed’s calm death in

her sleep in January 2024 was published on social media by the Boston Herald’s New England Patriots writer and his wife, Jen Kyed. In April of 2023, leukemia was identified as her illness.

Hallie’s parents report that after receiving a bone marrow transplant, her health deteriorated.
Unfortunately, the last round of treatment didn’t work either.

“We held out hope for remission because of how brave, strong, and resilient Hallie had been throughout her entire nine-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia and all of its complications,”

Kyed said on Instagram. “The whole family spent special time at the hospital last week,” he said.
