His greatest roles usually include him at the center of spectacular stunts. Even Tom Cruise, who was getting ready to shoot the hazardous flying sequences for Mission Impossible 8 in Oxfordshire on Sunday,
demonstrated that he can still be frightened by some of his greatest roles. The sixty-two-year-old actor prepared to take to the skies by climbing into the cockpit of a World War II biplane.
The iconic actor, reprising his role as Ethan Hunt, was seen on camera taking off on the aircraft during the thrilling last moments of the eighth Mission Impossible movie.
Tom, who has been a licensed pilot since 1994 and is the owner of many planes, stepped into the plane wearing Ethan’s well-known leather jacket.
The actor had previously been at Longcross Studios shooting sequences for the eagerly anticipated Mission Impossible 8 sequel. Tom was last seen shooting in London in April, not far from Downing Street.
