A terrible catastrophe in Manitoba, Canada, on Thursday claimed the lives of at least 15 people. At a junction close to Carberry, 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg, a truck and a bus carrying senior people collided. The bus’s occupants were traveling to Carberry to visit a casino.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s commander in Manitoba, Deputy Police Officer Rob Hill, verified that “at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the collision.”

The hospital is also providing medical treatment to ten additional people. Although both drivers made it out alive, the authorities have not yet revealed who caused the collision.

Near the tarpaulins concealing the remains, wheelchair seats and walking frames were shattered, according to photos taken at the site. In his sympathy message,

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that his sympathies are with the families of those who lost loved ones as well as the wounded. Premier Heather Stefanson of Manitoba also offered condolences.
