When their packed boat sunk and two influencers refused to wear life jackets, they horribly perished. A yacht party boat sunk off the Devil’s Throat coast last month, killing Aline Tamara Moreira de Amorim, 37, and Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria, 27.
The two had been enjoying their time at sea in Brazil with a huge group of people while shooting pictures.
However, after they departed the party, it was discovered during the inquiry that their boat was overloaded.
Marcos Alexandre Alfino, the police commissioner of Sao Vincente, informed the local media that they chose not to wear life jackets because they did not want them to interfere with their pictures.
He continued: “Some didn’t want to put them on because they were taking selfies.”They said that they obstruct their sunbathing.
