Experts are trying to identify the odd yet stunning dog hybrid that was captured on video. A Minnesota conservation organization called Voyageurs.
Wolf Project recently posted some images of the animal and inquired as to whether it would be the “elusive wyote dog”—a phony hybrid of a wolf and a coyote.
All kidding aside, the group observed that while the animal seemed “coyote-esque” to them, it did have certain characteristics of a dog, particularly the ears.
The initiative also highlighted the animal’s wolf-like traits, particularly its “robust snout,” which was reportedly bigger than those of nearby coyotes.
