One of the youngest African Americans to get a pilot’s license is a teenager from Staten Island.

It was never Kamora Freeland’s intention to touch the sky. As a young child, the Staten Islander had an ambition of becoming.

A marine scientist and exploring the ocean. However, as luck would have it, the 17-year-old is now skimming the clouds.

At more than 5,500 feet while posing as her mother, Lakema. Kamora laughed as she told The Post, “I obtained my pilot’s license prior to obtaining a driver’s license.”
