Kim Sae-ron, a Netflix star, was discovered dead at age 24.

According to police authorities, Kim Sae-ron, star of Netflix’s Bloodhounds, has been discovered dead.

The 24-year-old South Korean actor was discovered dead by a friend in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong neighborhood yesterday, February 16, at about 16:55.

Authorities are still looking into Kim’s death, but according to Yonhap News Agency, no indication of foul play has been found.

Kim gained notoriety for her performance in Ounie Lecomte’s 2009 film A Brand New Life, which was set in Seoul in 1975 and was partially based on the author’s own experiences.

The narrative follows a little girl called Jin-hee (Kim Sae-ron) as she tries to adapt to her new life after her father abandons her in a Catholic orphanage.
