Elon Musk has again suggested a pioneering subterranean tube connecting London and New York. A transatlantic tunnel linking New York and London.
Has been discussed for some time. Travelers may travel 5,500 km from London to New York in 54 minutes using this tunnel.
No corporation has proposed a tunnel proposal, despite estimates that it would cost $25 trillion. However, Elon Musk thinks it could be done for a fraction of that.
He said on X (previously Twitter) that his infrastructure and tunnel building business, The Boring business, could complete the project “1,000 times cheaper”.
The tech entrepreneur tweeted, “A proposed $20 trillion tunnel would take people from New York to London in 54 minutes.” Musk said, “The @boringcompany could do that for 1000x less money.”
