Richard Gere has made the astonishing (but not quite unexpected) announcement that he would never again be in the United States as he moves to Spain.
Why? The increasing impact of Elon Musk on American culture. In a statement, Gere added, “I cannot live in a world where Elon Musk controls everything.”
“I must locate a location where I can be free from his influence.” Celebrities that have voiced worries about Musk’s influence are not limited to Gere.
The software mogul has been under fire from a number of politicians and celebrities in recent months for his outspoken views and mysterious tweets.
