My name is Jeff Metcalf. Tragically, my son Austin Metcalf was stabbed at a school track competition today. He could not be saved by them.
He had a bright future ahead of him as a young man. He was a man’s leader. The room would be illuminated by his grin. He had an unfathomable enthusiasm for football.
Had a 4.0 GPA and was chosen as the team’s MVP for the previous season. He was eager to improve and step up his performance. He achieved the degree of success.
He sought via hard work, leadership, devotion, and determination. Hunter, his twin brother, played next to him. Because of the influence he had on other people’s lives, we will all remember him.
Son, you have my undying affection. It’s “see you later,” not “goodbye.” Until we cross paths again, God will provide for us. Rest in peace. Love Father
