Fans and thrill-seekers alike may have an unmatched journey at the “Godzilla Intercept Operation Awaji” theme park, which is tucked away on Japan’s Awaji Island.

The biggest life-sized Godzilla statue in the world, measuring an amazing 120 meters in length, can be seen at this unusual site, which is just an hour from Osaka.

The park transports guests to the world of the fabled monster and was developed in partnership with Toho Studios, the production company behind the classic Godzilla movies.

After being officially welcomed, visitors become members of the National Awaji Island Godzilla Disaster Research Institute (NIGOD), which sets out on missions to track and investigate Godzilla’s actions.

Toho Studios’ special seven-minute short film opens the trip and sets the tone for the exciting encounters that lie ahead. Visitors may pick between the “Inner Body Observation Course”
