After looking into the missing youngster, authorities discovered that she was not currently enrolled in school and that she and her parents were homeless.
On Friday afternoon, a Florida resident who lives close to Vann Park was taken aback to discover a young child and her dog seated on a chair in her carport. She had seen the girl and dog wandering in her front yard before.
According to Fox station WOFL, the woman called the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 4:30 p.m. and informed responding deputies that the girl had told her she was “hot, thirsty and hungry.”
