However, 15-year-old Nathaniel Dryden has seen firsthand how much more difficult it can be when bullies are there.
A bully has twice struck Nathaniel, a student at the Merrill Academy from Shelton Lock, Derbyshire.
The aggressor allegedly repeatedly and absolutely unprovokedly punched him during the first attack, which took place on January 23.
Shortly later, classmates and others in the area received a recording of the bullying.
