The public took issue with host and reporter Lawrence Jones, who has been a mainstay of Fox News since 2018.
Specifically, Jones shared images of himself with U.S. Border Protection officers in protective vests. He captioned the photo, saying, “Coming up on Fox News live from the border.”
He most likely wasn’t prepared for the barrage of comments that called him names and demanded that he be fired.
Many people believe it is inappropriate and unprofessional to stand on US land and act as if you are in a combat zone while wearing a bulletproof vest.
“Is “live from the border” synonymous with Party City?” New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez left a comment on Jones’ article.
